The ACM Greater New York Regional
Programming Contest was held October 24th, at Rutgers.
Contestants assembled in Hill 114 for instructions.

Teams were then given a couple of hours to practice, and get used to
the computing environment (linux-on-a-usb-key, no internet access).
And then at noon, the 48 teams from all over the northeast US were presented with the nine problems, and programming began in earnest.
Teams were randomly distributed between
Engineering 125 (much thanks to the School of Engineering for
generously allowing us to make use of their biggest computing room!)
